SVP, Head of Cybersecurity, Citizens Bank
Jim Cebula joined Citizens in 2017 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity arena. He has held several roles at Citizens including head of security programs & policy, head of cybersecurity and presently serves as director of security risk.
Prior to joining Citizens, Jim was a member of the cybersecurity leadership team at PNC where he headed the data protection, records management, vulnerability management, ethical hacking, cryptography, and secure coding teams.
Jim also spent nearly six years with the CERT program at Carnegie Mellon University where he worked with both government and commercial organizations to implement cyber resilience and risk management models. He also previously held technology and cybersecurity leadership positions supporting large government and military programs.
Giving back to the community, both professionally and personally, is also very important. Professionally, Jim is active with (ISC)2. He was one of the founding officers of the (ISC)2 Pittsburgh chapter, and has also served several times as an exam item writer for the CISSP exam. Personally, Jim volunteers time with several non-profit organizations.
