LeAnne Staalenburg

SVP, Chief Information Security Officer, Capital City Bank

LeAnne Bailey Staalenburg is a Senior Vice President with Capital City Bank Group in Tallahassee,  Florida. Capital City Bank Group, Inc. provides a full range of financial services at 66 banking offices and 71 ATMs in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. LeAnne has been with Capital City for over 25 years with the last 14 years managing security and risk. She began her career in Loan Operations and moved to Residential Operations, Compliance/BSA training and management. In 2000, LeAnne was appointed Information Security Officer and in 2006 she began managing the Corporate Security department. She is responsible for the development, implementation, oversight, and reporting of the Enterprise Corporate Security Program. The Program includes physical and logical security – including cyber security – as well as Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, Pandemic planning and response, Incident response, Enterprise Risk Management, Vendor Management and GLBA. She leads the Security Strategy Team at Capital City Bank and serves on the Technology Committee and Operations Risk Oversight Committee.

LeAnne holds the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designations. LeAnne believes in striving to improve security in the financial services industry and participates in the FS‐ISAC (Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center) Community Institution Council and she co‐chairs the ABA Cyber and Information Security Working Group. She also serves as a member of the planning board for the annual ABA Risk Management Conference andhas previously served on FS‐ISAC’s Spring and Fall Summit content review teams.

LeAnne lives in Tallahassee, Florida. She is passionate about improving and giving back to her community. Most recently she is serving on the board of directors for Big Bend Crime Stoppers. In her free time she loves spending time with her three daughters and six grandchildren.
